Most of the GPS receivers only give a reading every second. This reduces the accuracy when other devices have an higher reading frequency. GasTrack is the solution to this problem, it will increase the accuracy by calculating an interpolated position for each extra reading and will give an more detailed log file.

An other interesting feature of GasTrack is the compatibility. It can be installed on every computer running on a Windows operating system later than Windows 98. It is a lightweight program so it is fast to load and it can be quickly installed.

GasTrack can be used to make different types of measurements, with the ability to use COM ports. It can read all the data sent by major industrial measuring devices. It is know to be used with a gas finding device (Gasfinder) which is used in combination with a GPS and an anemometer. GasTrack synchronizes the data and stores it in a log file.
